Kevin joined Loberg Construction in 2015 as Director of Construction, bringing with him more than 16 years of high-level construction project management experience. In his current position, Kevin has a hands-on role in managing the firm’s operations and its projects including contracts and budgeting; hiring and directing staff; ensuring the safety and security of work sites, procuring supplies, materials, and equipment; and directing and monitoring project goals.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering Technologies from Western Illinois University, he began his construction career interning with a commercial and healthcare general contractor, then held a variety of project management and director roles with commercial contractors in the Chicago area before joining Loberg Construction.
Kevin’s areas of expertise include Operations Management, Construction Management, Project Management, Estimating, Pre-Construction, Scheduling, Consulting, Design Build, and Value Engineering.
I’ve always been intrigued with how things are put together. I’m drawn to the mechanics of building, but what I really thrive on is managing people and operations. Construction is a technical business but at the end of the day, it’s really a business about people.
